Gaz métro parking

Gaz Métro approach us to realize a modular system of planters in order to green up the parking area of their head office in Montréal. The goal was to help cool off the heat islands by adding shades and vegetation, while keeping the integrity of the pavement.

We made the containers out of cement so they would be easily moved with a forklift, following the motion of the sun. We used Ductal cement since it’s hyper resistant and let us achieve assembly details without using a steel frame.
